Senior Project Manager, Telecoms, Cloud,

To assist with strategic decisions with respect to technical matters of our clients business, including technical policy, technical budgets, technical staff, etc.

To maintain an awareness of the Company’s policies, practices and standards as documented in the Quality System, and to conduct work in accordance with these policies, practices and standards.

To issue policies and procedures related to the Quality Management system.

To maintain an awareness of industry developments relating to Computer Telephony, operating systems, software development tools and so forth.

To act as Project Manager for projects.

To act as a focal point for clients during the implementation and delivery phases of engineering projects.

To maintain a relationship with clients after delivery e.g. attending service reviews.

To act as an escalation point for in-life clients.

To interface company relations with engineering contractors, and engineering suppliers.

To provide technical input during the tendering phase and development phase of projects when required. This may include man-day estimates of the work entailed, planning the implementation of a project, and designing the solution architecture.

To prepare Specification documents against customer’s Statements of Requirement, ensuring all aims of the project will be met.

To design and develop software and hardware specifications using applicable methods and standards suitable for the task, in order to meet in-house and/or customer requirements.

To liaise with Engineers in the production and implementation of internal and external test plans and test scripts in accordance with documented Specifications.

To hold status and technical review meetings with customers, both as documented in any relevant Specification and on an ad-hoc basis when necessary.

To act as the Product Owner for Agile projects where the customer is not fulfilling this role.

To act as the Scrum Master for Agile projects where a Product Owner is available.

To assist in the management of day-to-day activities of projects and track progress.

To liaise with Engineers and Business Development Managers.

To provide expert technical guidance on the company’s products within the Project Manager’s experience.

To demonstrate products to customers.
